Fans at the Gillette Stadium, supporting the New England Patriots, chanted to bring on Bailey Zappe. The team’s starting quarterback Mac Jones struggled against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.
“Dare I say it….Time for the Bailey Zappe Experience,” a Twitter user said.
“The best thing the Patriots could do for Mac Jones right now is to put in Bailey Zappe. When the offense is still “lifeless” everyone will know it isn’t Mac’s fault,” a second one tweeted.
“I can’t believe I’m watching this. When is Belichick going to finally bench MacEnroe Jones?? Are we going to act like Bailey Zappe didn’t run the same offense to lethal precision with throws longer than 3 yards??? First-round picks are allotted rope longer than a bungee cord,” a third one said on Twitter.
“There’s more people tweeting about Bailey Zappe than Kari Lake losing lol,” a fourth fan said.

For the first time since defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 35-17 on October 16, 2016, the New England Patriots welcome the Bengals to Foxboro. The Bengals are their first opponents for this game since a 34-13 victory in Cincinnati on December 15, 2019.
The two sides have met 27 times overall. An all-time series that began in 1968 is currently 17-9 in favor of New England. In eight of the last ten matchups, the Patriots have prevailed.
Desmond Ridder was the Falcons’ starting quarterback once more despite the rookie’s difficult NFL debut last weekend, in which he managed just 13 completions for 97 yards and 6 carries for another 38.
