Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was praised by fans on Twitter for continuing to play in spite of an injury during the Raider’s game week 14 clash against the Los Angeles Rams at the SoFi Stadium on Thursday. 

Jesse Morse, the self-described ‘Fantasy Doctor’ said that Jacobs most likely has a phalanx fractured or a dorsal PIP dislocation.

“Josh Jacobs with a right-hand injury.

Most likely a phalanx fracture or dorsal PIP dislocation per @TheFantasyDRS medical team,” Jacobs tweeted. “He reinjured it on the stiff arm and now appears to be avoiding carrying the ball with his right arm.” 

Fans were full of praise for the 24-year-old former Alabama Crimson Tide player for the tenacity he showed on the pitch for the Raiders. Twitter was buzzing with praise for Jacobs seeing him play in spite of the injury. 

“Josh Jacobs powering through all these injuries is impressive. Dude is a competitor for sure,” one fan wrote on Twitter. 

“@iAM_JoshJacobs is a legend. I worry for his injury here but he just continues to be a trooper. Be careful out there JJ,” another fan said praising Jacobs.

The fact that Jacobs did not walk off the pitch after the injury made fans who picked him in their fantasy teams happy. One of them hailed the 24-year-old for carrying the fantasy team.

“Josh Jacobs is a monster. Playing through 2 injuries rn and carrying my fantasy team. Love to see it #tnf,” the user wrote.

Another fan wondered if the Raiders are taking a risk by letting the running back play with an injury. He feared long-term consequences of this on the player’s health.
