American rapper Wiz Khalifa and DJ Bonics performed at the halftime of the Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens Week 14 game at the Acrisure stadium on Sunday.
Wiz Khalifa who is a Pittsburgh native performed as scheduled at half-time along with team regular DJ Bonics as the Steelers trailed Ravens 7-13 at half-time.However, fans were left furious when broadcaster CBS did not show the performance.
“Instead of Steelers-Ravens, CBS is showing Jets-Bills, and this is why I hate the NFL 🤬 Wiz Khalifa is performing at halftime! 😭” a Twitter user wrote.
“So much for seeing a @wizkhalifa halftime show on @CBSSports Sunday… Lame,” another one said.
“Why do they never show the halftime performances on TV?! I wanted to see @wizkhalifa 😭,” a third one tweeted.
“I feel so bad for @wizkhalifa. That’s my guy right there, but the crowd is lifeless during this halftime performance. Money Mitch lowkey sucked the life outta the stadium smh. #HereWeGo,” a fourth one added.
Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens is a rivalry that is considered one of the most intense and physical in NFL history. Though the Ravens lead the AFC North division in the current season, they have a negative head-to-head, trailing 24-31 against the side from Maryland. The Ravens started the game without Lamar Johnson, who is expected to sit out for another week owing to an injury that he is still recovering from.
In an all- AFC North Sunday, second placed Cincinnati Bengals and Cleaveland Browns faced-off at Cincinnati. A victory by Steelers and a loss for the Browns would mean that Cincinnati Bengals will replace the Baltimore Ravens at the top of the table.
