Group C has proven to be the most exciting group in the league stage of the World Cup. Argentina will breathe a sigh of relief now that they are not behind two teams by three points, and can recover if they manage to win their next two matches against Mexico and Poland. Argentina now have a chance of finishing the league stage at the top of the group, which will ensure they face a lesser challenge in the round of 16.

The winners of Group C will face the runners-up of Group D. France, Australia, Tunisia, and Denmark are Group D members, and the defending world champions are likely to finish at the top of the group if there is no major shocker. France, with their star-studded team, will be a tough nut to crack for anyone.

Lewandowski, who has broken so many goalscoring records in his career, is currently playing in his second World Cup tournament. He is the third all-time leading European goalscorer across all competitions, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Ferenc Puskas. The Barcelona star missed a clear goalscoring opportunity when he failed to convert a spot kick after Mexico conceded a penalty in the 59th minute.

England have proven to be the best side among the teams that have played their first matches till date. Their 6-2 win over Iran has been the most dominating performance in the 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup so far.
