The defending champions will look to reach the final of the FIFA World Cup for the second consecutive time. If they win against Morocco today, they will be facing Lionel Messi and Argentina in the Qatar World Cup final.

The key player for Les Bleus will be Kylian Mbappe who is currently the joint top-scorer in the tournament with six goals alongside his PSG teammate Messi.

He is certainly a contender for the golden boot award in the Qatar World Cup and will have the opportunity to overtake Messi in goal count, even if he nets one goal today.

However, France will be without their midfielder Adrian Rabiot of Juventus, who was left out of the squad after manager Didier Deschamps told the press earlier that he is doubtful with an injury. Youssouf Fofana, who plays for the Ligue 1 club Monaco started the match in his place.
