Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady have been married since 2009, but recent reports have confirmed that the power couple are calling it quits. People magazine has spoken to a source close to Bündchen, who has revealed that the Brazilian supermodel is “done” with the marriage she shares with the iconic quarterback, and is now ready to move on.

The source also told People, “She was upset about it for a long time and it’s still difficult, but she feels like she needs to move on. She doesn’t believe that her marriage can be repaired.”

Regarding what the 42-year-old Bündchen would do post-separation, the source said, “She is just trying to figure out her life” while pointing out that “She doesn’t have much contact with Tom.”

Bündchen and Brady have been married for 13 years and share two kids, namely, Benjamin Rein (12) and Vivian Lake (9), besides 15-year-old John Edward, who is Brady’s oldest son from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. The source that while Bündchen does feel bad for the kids, she is sure that there will be no issues between her and Brady regarding the custody of the kids.

People had earlier quoted a source who said regarding the couple, “They are both smart people and number one in their field. They know together they are worth more.”

Bündchen and Brady recently purchased a $17 million property in the Indian Creek Island on Miami Beach, and the source suggests that Bündchen would continue to live there after the divorce because “Gisele loves Miami. She has friends there. She can see herself living there permanently”. Regarding her future plans, the source said, “She is doing yoga, meditating and taking care of herself. She doesn’t put any pressure on herself to make drastic decisions.”
