The sixth season of Pakistan Super League kicked off on Saturday and it started with a bang as several stars made an appearance in the opening ceremony. The event opening was marked by chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Ehsan Mani, who welcomed all the international players.
The matches this year will be played only in Karachi and Lahore in view of COVID-19 pandemic with audience limit of only 7,500 people in Karachi and 5,500 in Lahore.
The start studded evening witnessed some dazzling performances by Pakistani singer Atif Aslam and Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and Young Stunners who are credit with creating the PSL anthem of this year.
The trio set the stage on fire with ther electrified music performance completely justifying why the anthem was a perfect fit for this year’s tournament
Singer and rapper Imran Khan also graced the stage with his amplified with his popular hit ‘Amplifier’ alongside Humaima Malick. However, the highlight of the performance was Khan’s single performance on his much loved track ‘Bewafa.’
