Harbhajan Singh announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Friday. “All good things come to an end,” the legendary off-spinner said in a tweet.
Bhajji played a key role for the Indian team in the 2007 ICC WT20 and the 2011 ICC World Cup- winning campaigns. After shooting to fame in 2001, the 41-year-old served the Men in Blue across formats.
“All good things come to an end and today as I bid adieu to the game that has given me everything in life, I would like to thank everyone who made this 23-year-long journey beautiful and memorable. My heartfelt thank you. Grateful,” Harbhajan Singh wrote on Twitter.
He finishes his career with 417 Test wickets, fourth best Indian and 14th in the all-time wicket-takers list. He has 25 T20I and 269 ODI scalps against his name.
