Some also came out in support of Pandya.

“Hardik Pandya is that alpha guy who speaks facts without caring for anyone. Said Kohli is better than Sachin and now he doesn’t Bootlick Rohit just because he is the Captain. He just showed levels to Rohit yesterday,” one social media user said.

“Without Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians wouldn’t have won many trophies. He was the real Captain of MI while Rohit was carried by the team with 25 avg for 6 seasons. Hardik’s legacy is bigger than Rohit’s,” another one added.
