The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season. One of the most anticipated games of the season, it will see the matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady, something that has been a must-watch since the former came under the limelight in the NFL.

This is not the first time the pair will face each other, however, it is probably going to be the final time they take on each other on the field. Brady announced his retirement following the previous season, only to come back ahead of the new season. However, with all probability, this is going to be his penultimate season and a final matchup between the NFL GOAT Brady and rising royalty Mahomes will attract many.

Speaking about the upcoming game at The Drive, Mahomes revealed that he has not allowed himself to think whether it is going to be their final game facing each other.

“I haven’t allowed myself (to think about that). I think I’ve had a couple games already now that it’s been the last time I might be able to go up against Brady,” he said.

“He’s a guy that it seems like he always comes back and plays another season, and he always plays at a high level,” Mahomes added.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback also revealed that he knows that the best in business will be playing for the visitors on Sunday, who has one of the best defenses in the league.

“You just go about knowing they have the GOAT on that side of the football field, and that he always gives them a chance to win. And this is a stout defense that we’re going to have to go up against, and I know I’m going to have to do my best in order to put points up on the board,” he said.

The Kansas City Chiefs are part of the American Football Conference (AFC), while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers represent the National Football Conference (NFC). This will be the only time the two teams face each other this season unless both of them make it to the Super Bowl.
