A catastrophic explosion occurred at Caleb Farley’s home. According to the Director of Fire Services and Emergency Management for Iredell County in Mooresville, North Carolina, where Farley resided, the $2 million home that belonged to the former Virginia Tech graduate was destroyed.

One person was killed and another was critically hurt in the blast. The identity of the victims are being concealed at this time until the families have been properly notified, although authorities have confirmed that both victims were males.

As the first responders arrived on the site, the injured person could be seen leaving the premises. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital where he is receiving non-life-threatening injury treatment.

When searching among the debris of the cornerback for the Tennessee Titans’ home, recovery teams came across the corpse of the second fatality. Although Farley was at the location on Tuesday, it’s not known if he was present for or involved in the explosion itself.

Caleb Farley is an American football cornerback. Born on November 2, 1998, he played college football at Virginia Tech and was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Known for his athleticism and versatility, Farley is considered a promising talent in the NFL. However, his career has been impacted by injury concerns, including back surgery before entering the league.

Authorities are yet to give an official cause of the explosion with an investigation underway.

This is not Farley’s first run-in with tragedy. His mother, Robin, died in January 2018 of breast cancer and Farley has said she instilled his faith in God into him.
