Ravindra Jadeja reestablished himself as the No 1 all-rounder in Tests. The India player swapped positions with West Indies’ Jason Holder to reclaim the top spot, as per ICC rankings released on Wednesday. On the other hand, captain Rohit Sharma slipped one place and is the No 4 batsman in ODIs.

Jadeja had risen to the top after his 175-run knock and nine-wicket match haul against Sri Lanka in the first Test in Mohali earlier this month. However, he had lost the place to Holder last week.
Now than the Windies player had a pretty ordinary second Test against England, he dropped points. Holder has a rating of 357 while Jadeja boasts 385. India’s premier off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is third in the Test all-rounders list and second in the bowlers’ chart.
Babar Azam made significant gain in the Test rankings. Riding on his match-saving 196-run knock against Australia, the Pakistan skipper broke moved to No 5 spot. His compatriot Mohammad Rizwan also moved up six places to joint No 11 alongside David Warner. Meanwhile, Australia opener Usman Khawaja, who scored 160 and unbeaten 44 in Karachi, moved up eleven spots to No 13.
India’s all-format captain Rohit Sharma, who was placed third in the ODI batting charts, was replaced by South Africa wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock. Virat Kohli remained static at No 2.

In Tests, Kohli and Rishabh Pant held on to their No 9 and 10 spots. The batting chart in the longest format is led by Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne. He is followed by England’s Joe Root, former Aussie skipper Steve Smith and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.
Pacer Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 of the ODI bowlers’ chart.
