The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics came to an end on February 20, 2022. In the final day of the games, five medal events were held. Norway’s Therese Johaug won gold in the women’s cross-country skiing 30km mass start event, while the Austrian team won the gold in the alpine skiing mixed team parallel event. Team Britain won the women’s curling gold, while Francesco Friedrich, Thorsten Margis, Candy Bauer, and Alexander Schueller of Germany won the 4 man bobsled event. Finally, the men’s hockey gold was won the Finnish team. At the end of the final day, Norway finished 1st with 16 gold medals, while Germany and China came 2nd and 3rd with 12 and nine gold medals respectively.
