The Indian cricket team, led by skipper Virat Kohli, landed in South Africa for the three-match Test series beginning December 26 at Centurion.
Star opener Rohit Sharma has been ruled out for the series after sustaining a left hamstring injury during a training session in Mumbai.
KL Rahul, India’s other star opener, will be taking over as the Vice-Captain for the Test series. While the series-opener will be hosted by Centurion, the other two Tests will be played at Johannesburg and Cape Town respectively.
