Hardik Pandya’s return to bowling post his injury is proving to be fruitful. The Indian all-arounder has for now managed to take three scalps in the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup match. He has dismissed Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Khushdil Shah.

This is Pandya’s 68th T20I match. The allrounder has been a strong presence in the Indian middle order with his bat and after coming back from an injury that deterred him from picking up the ball, he is showing his skills as an all-rounder as well. ICC has also congratulated the player on his fine performance:

Besides Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also stepped up to the occasion, picking up four wickets for 26 runs. Youngster Arshdeep Singh also proved his mettle by taking two wickets in the match. Pakistan’s innings wrapped up within 147 runs.

Virat Kohli will be looking to be back in form in his 100th T20I match. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is also looking to become the highest run-getter in the shortest format of the game. He is trailing current table-topper Martin Guptill by 10 runs.
