Following a successful start to their campaign at the Asia Cup 2022, India will once again face Pakistan in the continental tournament on Sunday evening, September 4, 2022. The Indian side has won both of their opening matches, including against Pakistan in the campaign opener, which helped them to seal a spot in the last four. However, Sunday’s match is expected to be much different for both sides, each of whom has one influential squad member ruled out.
Ace Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 after the victory against Hong Kong. The 33-year-old has been one of the most influential members of the Indian team for a long time and was one of the best players for the Men in Blue against Pakistan in the previous match, where he scored 35 off 29 balls while chasing the target. Axar Patel has replaced him in the squad.
