RCB’s Harshal Patel bagged the Gamechanger of the Season
and Most Valuable Player of the Season in addition to the purple cap. The 31-year-old Haryana pacer accounted for 32 wickets in 15 games.

He went on to become the joint
highest wicket-taker in IPL matching Dwayne Bravo’s record from the 2013 season.
He also set the record for being the highest wicket-taking Indian bowler in a
single season of IPL.

Harshal Patel made an immediate impact in the opening
match against Mumbai Indians, picking up a five-for. He grabbed a hat trick
against the same opposition in the UAE leg clash.
