Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings are yet to register back-to-back wins this season. The two sides are in contention for the IPL 2022 playoffs but will hae to win all their matches. They lock horns at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Monday. 

Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals stand at the fifth rung of the IPL 2022 points table with six wins. Mayank Agarwal and co also have dozen points but are shy on net run rate.

DC come to this match after defeating the Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets. Skipper Pant decribed the contest as a “close to a perfect game”. For the 2020 finalists’ relief, Mitchell Marsh has joined the party. Prithvi Shaw, who was down with typhoid, has been ischarged from the hospital but might not be match fit. 

The Punjab Kings on the other hand come to the game after beating the Royal Challengers Bangalore by 54 runs.

For them pacer Akashdeep Singh has been delivering consistently. Kagiso Rabada has also come to party. Jonny Baistow and Shikhar Dhawan firing is also good news for the Punjab Kings.
