Cincinnati Bengals stars Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins were spotted partying at a yacht off the coast in Miami with female companions, per exclusive photographs published by TMZ. Isaiah Simmons, the Arizona Cardinals linebacker, was also spotted at the gathering. He and Higgins know each other from their student days at Clemson University.
The photographs showed footballers and their friends enjoying, with bottles of tequila, atop the fancy yacht. They mostly sat and talked, TMZ reported.
With the free agency in the NFL underway, the players seemed pretty chilled out, indicating minimal chances of switching teams.
Chase is still in the middle of his rookie deal with the Cardinals while Higgins is stepping into the final year of his current contract. Bengals insiders say that the team has long-term plans to retain Higgins and as a result, a renewal might just be in the offing for him.
No wonder, they were seen with bottles of Casamigos, vibing to some Rock and Roll music, per the TMZ report.
The Aaron Rodgers saga continues
While the two youngsters party with friends in Miami, a veteran for 18 seasons in the NFL, Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers quarterback, is seemingly all set to join the New York Jets, according to Jerry Wingo of ESPN. If the move goes through, it will be the biggest trade of the season.
MARCA reported that the 39-year-old Packers’ MVP had three choices, to retire, renew with the Packers or move to another team. Jets representatives then reportedly flew to his California home to convince him to join them and he eventually caved in, according to Wingo.
With Rodgers on board, the Jets will potentially be able to challenge Super Bowl teams in the league, as it would significantly improve their attack.
