The Bills will pay tribute to Hamlin in a number of ways during their Week 18 matchup against the Patriots.

The NFL has declared that Hamlin will be honoured in Week 18. Prior to the playing of the national anthem, a statement will be issued over the public address system by the clubs hosting a Week 18 game. It will pay tribute to Damar Hamlin and the emergency personnel who saved his life in Cincinnati on the field.

To honour Damar Hamlin’s No. 3 jersey, teams will have the option of painting the three on either 30-yard line in Bills colours. The Patriots have determined that Gillette Stadium will serve as the location. During pre-game warmups, all NFL players will have the option of wearing T-shirts that say “Love for Damar 3.”

The jerseys for Bills players will have matching shirts in the team colours, hats with the number “3” on them, and “3” jersey patches. There is little doubt that Damar Hamlin’s presence will be felt throughout the last week of the NFL regular season.
