Former wide receiver Jerry Rice on Saturday attended the San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks wildcard playoff game at the Levi’s Stadium. The 60-year-old was wearing a hoodie of the NBA team Los Angeles Lakers and his trademark 49ers chain.

Rice is a regular at 49ers fixtures and his 49ers themes chains have been a fan favorite. He was spotted in an earlier game of the San Francisco franchise wearing the same chain as he cheered for the quarterback Brock Purdy from the stands.
Incidentally, after spending most of his career with the 49ers, Rice went on to join the Seahawks briefly, followed by Denver Broncos before hanging his football boots.
While many expected loyalties to be divided as the 49ers met the Seahawks, Rice decided to make his point clear wearing the 49ers chains that he is still very much a San Francisco at heart.
The fans, however, took a dig at Rice by bringing out the question of divided loyalties between the Seahawks and the 49ers.
“Seahawk legend jerry rice,” a fan wrote in reply to Rice’s video.
“Jerry Rice definitely from Mississippi lol,” another one said in reply to the video shared by the 49ers.

Others were unimpressed with the fact that Rice entered the pitch. Some said that he missed the spotlight of being a player in the NFL while others thought that he needs to be geared up to play.
“Jerry misses the spotlight so bad. Sad,” a fan said.
“Just to let anyone under 30 know, that’s Jerry Rice, the greatest WR ever. IT’S NOT OBJ” wrote another.
“Hell Yeaha!!! I see ya #GOAT𓃵 💖 that 49er chain!!! It goes hard! #GoNiners !!!,” tweeted one.
