Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Bengals, said that he aggravated his strained right calf on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Burrow was seen on the sidelines hobbling and tending to his calf during the Bengals’ 27-24 loss to Baltimore. The Bengals’ season has now started 0-2 twice in a row thanks to this loss. Burrow and Bengals coach Zac Taylor both agreed that he would have returned to the game had the team had one more possession.

Burrow after the game in an update to the injury said, “I’m not sure how it’s going to feel the next couple days. It’s pretty sore right now. No telling how it’s going to feel. So, I think we’re going to take it day by day” reported by ESPN.
Burrow said he “tweaked it a little bit” on the Bengals’ last offensive drive of the contest. When Burrow wasn’t under pressure, it happened on an incomplete pass to wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. After that play, Burrow effectively connected with wide receiver Tee Higgins for a four-yard touchdown pass while rolling to his right and leaping off his right foot.
