Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was seen sporting teammate Ja’Marr Chase’s jersey from the LSU National Championship game ahead of their week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The Bengals beat the Saints 30-26 on Sunday at the Superdome.

Superdome is the same location where the Bengals won the National Championship vs. the Clemson Tigers, 42-25.

Jacob Hester reacted to Burrow’s look on Sunday saying that it is both hot and cold “at the same damn time.”

“It’s a #LSU reunion in the Superdome today. #GeauxTigers,” he added.

Meanwhile, Burrow’s parents were also present at the Superdome. They were seen wearing No. 9 jerseys for their son. However, Burrow’s name was spelt differently on the back of the jersey.

They rocked a de facto Cajun spelling of their surname, playing off “Geaux”—as in “Go Tigers” or “Go Saints.” The matching jerseys read “Burreaux” – the alternate spelling holds meaning to Burrow’s playing history.

Sunday marked the first time Burrow played in New Orleans since the 2020 College Football Playoff national championship game.

Burrow joined the Bengals as they drafted him with the first-overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. During the 2021 season, Chase stayed in college, but didn’t play and sat out for the year. Chase entered the 2021 draft and was regarded as a top-10 pick.

On Sunday, the former LSU teammates faced the New Orleans Saints and emerged victorious.

Burrow was fired up following the win as he yelled, “let’s f——- go,” as he walked off the field with Chase, a video shared by Fox 19 on Twitter shows.
