The Puerto Rican singer was seen strumming his guitar and singing the national anthem as the crowd cheered along.

The Miami Dolphins returned home for the holidays on December 25, 2022, after spending three weeks on the road.

Sunday’s game will be the Dolphins’ fourth Christmas Day game, and the first time the team has played on the holiday in 16 years. The Dolphins are now 2-1 all-time in December 25 games.

José Feliciano released Viva La Navidad earlier this month, fifty years after releasing the joyful, bilingual holiday song Feliz Navidad. The animated music video depicts the 77-year-old singer strumming his guitar as a cartoon, surrounded by a slew of snowmen. His character is eventually seen riding a sleigh throughout the world while tracing a map.

Viva La Navidad appears to be a Christmas version of Ricky Martin’s popular Livin’ La Vida Loca, with a similar song and speed but lyrics to match his holiday enthusiasm.

Viva La Navidad is on Feliciano’s most recent album, which was released in November.

“Love & Christmas is a compilation of songs that convey the eternal themes of José’s life and music: his passions, his sense of community, and love of family, as well as his Joy for the Christmas Season,” read a post on his Instagram account announcing the album’s release.

Classic tracks such as Michael Jackson’s Human Nature, Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze,” and the Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody” are included on the album.

Feliciano’s documentary José Feliciano: Behind This Guitar, which traces his 60-year career, premiered on Peacock and Telemundo in September.
