The Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their Super Bowl 2023 win with a ring ceremony. The Chiefs got a Super Bowl ring for the second time in four years. Before beginning its title defense, the franchise hosted one last party. On Thursday at Union Station, they had a private ceremony where they were given the rings.

Each of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl rings is said to include 613 diamonds, including 35 rubies weighing a combined 16.1 carats, 609 round diamonds, and four marquise diamonds. The rings’ tops feature the Chiefs logo, which is created with 16 rubies set in yellow gold.

“These rubies represent the number of division titles the franchise has won, dating back to its first title in 1962, when the team was known as the Dallas Texans. The Texans/Chiefs have won three AFL West and 13 AFC West titles, with seven consecutive AFC West titles from 2016 to 2022.”

According to en.as.com, the NFL pays between $5,000 and $7,000 per ring for up to 150 rings per franchise, with any further expenditures being covered by the team. The ultimate price per ring often ranges from $30k to $50k.
