Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi, friends and PSG teammates, exchanged jerseys after France vs Morocco FIFA World Cup 2022 match at the AL Bayt stadium on Wednesday.

The duo was earlier spotted hugging in the tunnel before the start of the match. Mbappe has said several times that Hakimi is one of his closest friends at the Paris-based club.

When Morocco reached the semi-final, Mbappe tweeted saying that he can’t wait to meet the Moroccan full-back at the game.
Even though it was a tightly-held contest throughout, the French came on top thanks to goals by defender Theo Hernandez in the fifth minute followed by another one from Randal Kolo Muani in the 79th minute.

Morocco created several chances throughout the match and came close to scoring many times. However, luck was not on their side as the French managed to maintain their lead till the last minute.
France will now meet Lionel Messi-led Argentina in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Even though they will come into the match as the defending champions, the current form of Lionel Messi would be cause for concern for Les Bleus.

Morocco, on the other hand, will play for the bronze medal against Croatia, who lost the first semi-final to Argentina.
Whether or not they manage to win the bronze medal, they will still go down as one of the best-ever underdog performances in a FIFA World Cup.
