The Brazilian center-back Marquinhos then headed in a corner for PSG to tie the score once more. An immediate flurry of goals for both teams followed at the start of the second half. Sergio Ramos, a former Real Madrid defender, scored the opening goal for PSG after Kylian Mbappe dribbled and sent in a quick pass inside the box for the Riyadh All-Star 11. This gave PSG the lead.
After the South Korean player Soo Jan scored for Riyadh, that advantage was short-lived. The game remained close for a little while longer until PSG was awarded a penalty, which Mbappe neatly converted into the goal. As a result of a series of substitutions on both sides, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi left the field, taking much of the excitement out of the game. The PSG manager also substituted Achraf Hakimi and Keylor Nevas, giving the game a somewhat even playing field.
Ultimately, the contest finished 4-3 in favor of the French side.
