The fact that Kylian Mbappe is unhappy at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) is no secret. The 23-year-old forward is unhappy with the club’s sporting policies and will be looking for a move out in the upcoming summer transfer window. Now, a report from Spanish news out SPORT claims that four European clubs are keeping an eye out for the French superstar and will try to sign him when the summer transfer window opens at the end of 2022-23 season.

The 2018 World Cup winner was heartbroken after France lost the FIFA World Cup 2022 final to Argentina on Sunday, according to the SPORT. Mbappe scored a brilliant hattrick to bring France back from a losing position, but that did not prove sufficient as the Les Blues lost 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw.

As he plots his move away from PSG, which clubs could sign him? Let’s have a look.

1. Chelsea

The SPORT report claims that Chelsea, under its new owner Todd Bohley, are keeping tabs on Mbappe. They have made several big money signings in the recent past but they have not played out well for the London side. However, if they can bag a player like Mbappe in the summer, there is very little that could go wrong.

2. Liverpool

In spite of the turmoil over ownership at Liverpoll and reports of a possible takeover from current owner FSG, they are looking to sing Mbappe in the summer. Although the owners plan to sell the club and are courting offers, they have promised no compromise on the sporting side of things and signing Mbappe could be a good way to prove that point.

3. Manchester United

Manchester United are always on the frontlie when it comes to big money signing. The Red Devils decided to part ways with Ronaldo after the explosive Piers Morgan interview and will look to sign a player in his position. Manager Erik Ten Hag has also confirmed that that they will look for a new forward in the transfer window.

4. Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe’s love affair with the Spanish club is nothing new. The 23-year-old has tried to sign for them many times in the past but it did not go through amidst PSG’s unwillingness to let him go. If Mbappe get the approval from PSG to leave at the end of the current season, then Madrid would be the top destination for him.
