Lincoln made the decision to pay homage to “Kirko Chainz” from the stands after watching videos of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins dancing while wearing several of his teammates’ chains around his neck on the team’s flights home from away games.

He sported a similar attire to Kirk Cousins’ following the team’s 20-17 victory over his former squad, the Washington Commanders, in Week 9. He wore a purple Vikings stocking cap, glasses, four plastic chains, and no shirt.

Cousins was also impressed by the young fan’s enthusiastic support. KWWL quoted him saying, “The young kid in the stands who was shirtless, that was just tremendous,” further adding, “We may have to hire him as a team mascot. That was awesome. We had a TV timeout, and the guys in the huddle are just loving it. We may have to come up with a name for him, get him some tickets, and bring him back.”

Lincoln’s mother, Hether, said regarding his popularity, “Surreal is probably a good way to describe it,” further adding, “Every day is just a new surprise.”
