England cricket team member Moeen Ali was seen sitting in the Indian dugout and chatting with pacer Mohammed Shami and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, in their warm up fixture against Australia on Monday, October 23, at the Gabba. India won the game, defeating the hosts by six runs.

The English team was in the stands watching India play against Australia, ahead of their warmup match against Pakistan at the same venue. The match between England and Pakistan is slated to begin after the India vs Australia match is completed.

Members of the Pakistani cricket team were also spotted in the stands, during the second innings of the game. Pakistan captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Shahnawaz Dahani, and Mohammad Nawaz were spotted on Monday watching India’s warm-up game against Australia from the stands at the Gabba along with other members of the team.
India defeated Australia by 6 runs in their warm up match. The game was fiercely contested, with batters from both teams slamming bowlers all over the field. Australia was cruising toward the target when, thanks to a strong penultimate over from Harshal Patel and an even better final over from Mohammed Shami sealed the game for the Men in Blue.

KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav’s half-centuries helped India set Australia a target of 187 runs to chase earlier in the game. With Mitchell Marsh and Aaron Finch off to such a terrific start during the powerplay, it looked that Australia will win the match.
But India won the game with to Mohammed Shami’s penultimate over effort, where he took three wickets and a run out. His one over spell reads: 2 2 W W W W. In their final warm up game on October 19, India will play New Zealand.
