PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is reportedly under investigation for alleged kidnap and torture. Three investigating judges have been appointed in Paris to examine the accusations.

The allegations relate to the kidnapping and torture of lobbyist Tayeb Benabderrahmane, 42, in 2020. This was in relation to “documents that contained compromising information” in his possession.

Benabderrahmane launched a civil action lawsuit against Al-Khelaifi, and French law has allowed a judicial investigation to be conducted.

The former’s lawyers, Maïtres Romain Ruiz and Gabriel Vejnar have said they are “very satisfied” with the decision to investigate the case. “We are very happy that the real file of this story is finally the subject of an investigation by the French justice,” they told AFP.
