The Denver Broncos have sacked first-year head coach
Nathaniel Hackett with two games left in the season. Owner and CEO Greg Penner
said he will lead the search for a new coach with assistance from GM George
Paton. The Broncos have slumped to a 4-11 record in Hackett’s first season,
fresh off a 51-14 undressing the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Hackett’s tenure
lasted 15 games with the Broncos, the seventh-shortest head coaching tenure in
NFL history, according to The Athletic.

coaches:

Bill Belichick – New York Jets – 1 Day

Jets under head coach Bill Parcells from 1997-1999. When Parcells left to coach

games

When Chuck Knox coached the Rams to a 54-15-1
regular-season record and left to lead the Buffalo Bills, replacing him was

George Allen to take on the task. He tried to tackle with the Rams at the start
of the 1977 season. But after two disappointing performances in the preseason,
Rosenbloom fired Allen, which allowed him to work as a football analyst for CBS
sports.
