Wednesday’s NBA play-in match between Los Angeles Lakers and
Golden State Warriors saw Lakers veteran LeBron James scoring a three-pointer against
their California rivals. Lakers, with this win, laid
their claim to the seventh place in the Western Conference, resulting in their upcoming
matchup against Phoenix Suns.

Lakers won by a 103-100 score, with James finishing with a
total of 22 points, including 11 rebounds as well as 10 assists.

Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, too, stepped up for his
team, as he totalled 37 points, with seven rebounds and three assists.

James’ 34 foot-long heave went through the nets with 58.2 seconds remaining on the clock, sealing the match off for good.

Moments before the shot, however, James was fouled in the face from Warriors Power Forward Draymond Green.

“After Draymond’s finger to the eye, I was literally seeing three rims out there.

So I just shot at the middle one. And I was able to, with the grace from the man above, I was able to knock it down”, James was quoted by ESPN as saying regarding the incident.

The Lakers, despite wobbling in the beginning of the match, came back strong towards the end.

Golden State erased the Lakers’ lead shortly before James’ match-sealer, as the San Francisco side took the lead back (96-95) with three minutes and 43 seconds remaining.
