Star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr spoke with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones Thursday. The free agent, one of the hottest properties in the league currently, will potentially hold an in-person meeting with the 80-year-old businessman – as he returns from an ACL injury.

Jones, after Cowboys’ 28-20 win over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving day, told reporters he had a ‘good meeting’ with Beckham. He also clarified the two didn’t have a formal, in-person meeting.

Dallas are tentatively looking at December 5 for when they’ll sit down with OBJ, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported. Dak Prescott and co, the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers are reportedly the other teams interested in the former pro-bowler.

However, Beckham has been most strongly connected to the Cowboys, where he could join the likes of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. 

In the second half against the Giants on Thursday, the Cowboys were on fire. Dak Prescott threw two touchdown passes to tight end Dalton Schultz, Ezekiel Elliott ran for a score in the game. The team turned a 13-7 deficit into a 21-13 lead before rookie Peyton Hendershot ran for a 2-yard TD.

CeeDee, the hero of the game, took some brilliant catches. His one-handed grab for 15 yards was compared to what OBJ used to do almost regularly. 

Dak Prescott looks comfortable after returning from a fractured right thumb. Lamb and Elliot are firing. Tony Pollard has been a find for Dallas this year. Add Odell Beckham Jr to the mix and the team is looking at arguably the league’s best offense. 

As per CBS Sports HQ’s Josina Anderson, the 30-year-old is also planning to meet with the Buffalo Bills is in talks with the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs. All three are attractive spots.
