Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made headlines on Monday night when he scored 4 touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. This feat also helped him become the fourth tight end in the history of the NFL to score 4 touchdowns in a single game.

The Kansas City Chiefs were hosting the Las Vegas Raiders in Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium when Travis Kelce scripted the record. While the Chiefs began the game underwhelmingly, they grew in the game as time went on and one of the biggest reasons behind their comeback was tight end Travis Kelce.

The 33-year-old inspired the Chiefs to come back from a 20-10 score at halftime to lead 30-29 in the fourth quarter with 4:27 minutes left on the clock. The 4 touchdowns were also his career-best, however, fell short of Kellen Winslow Sr’s record of 5 touchdowns in a single game.

Incidentally, Kellen Winslow also achieved the feat against the Las Vegas Raiders, similar to Travis Kelce in Monday Night Football in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. However, while Kelce is the fourth tight end in the history of the NFL to score 4 touchdowns in a single game, he is the first one since 1985 to achieve the feat.

With the 4 receiving touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders, Kelce also surpassed his tally from the previous four weeks in the 2022 NFL season, where he scored 3 touchdowns. The Kansas City Chiefs star also became the first player in the history of Monday Night Football to have 4 receiving touchdowns in a single game.
