The 18-week-long NFL
season consumes every holiday from September to February, but it had recorded a
monopoly on the Thanksgiving holiday since its inception. 

The roaster of games
on Thanksgiving day, which usually concludes as the most-watched sporting event
of the year, has itself become an important event.

The NFL has
traditionally included one game hosted by the Detroit Lions since 1934, and
another one hosted by the Dallas Cowboys since 1966, each year. But since 2006,
by adding a third game in the prime-time, it took further advantage of the
holiday, turning the halftime into a complete event itself.

NFL 2022 is the 103rd
season of the NFL, which began on September 8, 2022. It will end on January 8,
2023. The playoffs are scheduled to begin on January 14 and will end with Super
Bowl LVII, the league’s championship game, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale,
Arizona, on February 12.

be played on Thursday, November 24, 2022. This will be the 12th week of the
18-week league of the 2022 season.

Halftime performers
during Dallas Cowboys 

The Jonas Brothers
will be taking the stage at halftime of the Cowboys against the New York
Giants. The Jonas Brothers would be the first to do it twice for the Cowboys,
with their first performance in 2008.

during Detroit Lions

The performers during
the Lions’ halftime against the Buffalo Bills would be Bebe Rexha apace with
David Guetta, a DJ, and producer. Rexha hasn’t performed during the
Thanksgiving event before but had at the halftime of a game between the Falcons
and the Rams back in 2016.
