Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season began with Thursday Night Football as the Denver Broncos were beaten 9-12 by the Indianapolis Colts. Several quarterbacks delivered memorable performances in the week, as was seen in several games.

Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills quarterback displayed a memorable performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. The Bills beat the Steelers 38-3 on Sunday. One of the reasons behind the huge victory was their quarterback Josh Allen.

The 26-year-old completed 20 successful passes in 31 attempts for 424 yards, with a completion percentage of 64.5%. He also registered 4 touchdowns and 1 interception in the game.

Taysom Hill

One of the most versatile players in the NFL, the New Orleans Saints tight end looked to be playing as a quarterback against the Seattle Seahawks. He registered 9 carries for 112 yards, 3 rushing touchdowns and 1 fumble recovery against the Seahawks.

Jalen Hurts

The Philadelphia Eagles continued their winning streak against the Arizona Cardinals as they won their Week 5 match by a score of 20-17 to remain unbeaten in the entire NFL.  

Quarterback Jalen Hurts recorded two rushing touchdowns in the game and passed for 239 yards, completing 26 out of his 36 passes. He rushed with the football 15 times for 61 yards in the game.

Geno Smith

The Seattle Seahawks were beaten 32-39 by the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. However, one positive from the Seahawks’ gameplay was quarterback Geno Smith.

The 31-year-old completed 16 passes out of 25 attempts for 268 yards, 3 touchdown and a passer rating of 139.7.

Kirk Cousins

The Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears 29-22 in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. A big part of the victory was due to their quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Cousins registered 32 successful passes out of 41 attempts for 296 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception in the game.

Carson Wentz

The Washington Commanders were beaten 17-21 by the Tennessee Titans in Week 5. However, the Commanders’ quarterback Carson Wentz was one of the few positives for them in the game.

Wentz completed 25 passes out of 38 attempts for 359 yards, along with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
