The Philadelphia Eagles broke their franchise record with an eighth successive win to start an NFL season when they beat Houston Texans, 29-17 on Thursday Night of Week 9.
There were some great performances from notable wide receivers of the league. The Las Vegas Raiders suffered their sixth loss of the season at the hands of the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. Davante Adams, WR of the Raiders had his best game of the season so far in the loss where he had two touchdowns in 17 targets.

Let’s look at the best wide receivers from Week 9:
1) Davante Adams (Las Vegas Raiders)
Adams had his season-best performance against the Jaguars when he caught two endzone receptions from his QB Derek Carr for a total of 146 receiving yards in 10 receptions to end his night even though his team lost 27-20 at the EverBank Field.
2) Tyreek Hill (Miami Dolphins)
The ‘Cheetah’ was instrumental in his team’s close 35-32 victory against the Chicago Bears as he caught seven receptions for 143 yards for his second consecutive game receiving for over 140 yards (he had 188 receiving yards against Detroit Lions in Week 8).
3) Cooper Kupp (Los Angeles Rams)
Super Bowl 2022 MVP, Kupp had his first game of receiving for over 100 yards since Week 5 when he had eight receptions for 126 yards and his second consecutive game with a receiving TD, this time a 69-yard pass from QB Matthew Stafford.
4) Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
The Vikings’ wide receiver recorded his fifth game of receiving over 100 yards and just his second game with a receiving TD as his side emerged victorious versus the Washington Commanders. The Vikings now have the second-best win-loss record in the entire NFL with 7-1.
5) Christian Kirk (Jacksonville Jaguars)
The Jaguars snapped their four-game losing streak as they comfortably defeated the Raiders 27-20. Receiver Kirk had eight receptions for 76 yards to go with a touchdown in the game.
