The Philadelphia Eagles welcomed the Washington Commanders on Monday Night in Week 10 in a rematch between the two teams from the third week. The Eagles are yet to be defeated this year and beat their opponents in a convincing fashion by a score of 24-8.

The Eagles took the lead when Hurts rushed one yard into the Commanders’ endzone, scoring his seventh rushing touchdown of the season. He leads the entire NFL in quarterbacks who have scored the most rushing endzone points.

Commanders’ running back Antonio Gibson equalized by scoring in a similar fashion. The extra point was scored by kicker Joey Slye. Hurts again led his team to a six-point lead when he passed to TE Dallas Goedert for six yards. RB Brian Robinson Jr scored a one-yard TD to equalize the game. The team is playing with great confidence today.

The visitors totally dominated their opponents by rushing from the field for a total of 77 yards as compared to the Eagles’ 24. The home team also trailed 100 to 135 in the passing yards category.

Both the team’s defenses have recovered a fumble each in the game by this time.

The Eagles are having a hard time taking the ball and running with it. Commanders’ defense has stopped the team in this category most times.

Philadelphia is one of the top play-stoppers across the league, ranking third in total opposition yards per game with 299 yards per game while Commanders fall middle of the pack with 330 yards per game. The unbeaten team has 26 sacks while 23 sacks for the year.

The Commanders are 4-5 this season with key wins against the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts. But the team has also suffered defeats from Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.
