Monday night football is proving brutal with several top players injured in the first half of the Arizona Cardinals vs New England game.
Cardinal quarterback Kyler Murray was carted off the field with a knee injury and was ruled out. His teammate and running back James Conner jogged to the medical tent, but is back in the game.
The New England Patriots sent two players to that tent. Wide receiver Devanta Parker has a head injury and will not return to the game. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson left the field with an ankle injury, returned to play, and is back in the locker room.
Week 14 has been hard on quarterbacks. On Sunday, rival QBs Kenny Picket of the Pittsburg Steelers and Tyler Huntley of Baltimore Ravens landed in concussion protocol during their game. Mike White of the New York Jets left the field twice after sacks, only to return each time, despite being listed as questionable. After the game he went back on the injury list.
Wide receivers, Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers and Corey Davis of the New York Jets, too were injured.
