In heartbreak for fans and fantasy owners, Jonathan Taylor, super star running back for the Indianapolis Colts, has injured his ankle on his first play vs the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15. He has been ruled out for the rest of the game.  

Latest updates on injuries in Week 15 of NFL 2022:

Quarterbacks:

Kyler Murray (Out)

Arizona Cardinals QB Murray suffered a season-ending injury in the first quarter of the Monday night game and did not return to play vs the Patriots last week. Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that the quarterback is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his torn ACL.

Kenny Picket (Out)

Pickett of the Pittsburg Steelers suffered a concussion and was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Ravens.

Tyler Huntley (Healthy)

The Baltimore Ravens’ backup quarterback Tyler Huntley suffered an injury in Week 14. However, he has cleared the concussion protocol and will start on Saturday against the Cleveland Browns.

Lamar Jackson (Out)

The Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback did not practice all week and is out of the Browns game. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Lamar Jackson has a sprained PCL that is expected to sideline him for 1-3 weeks.

Jimmy Garoppolo (Out)

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback had to leave the field vs the Miami Dolphins after suffering an ankle injury. He is listed as out for Week 15. General manager John Lynch has said that Garoppolo’s injury does not place him on the injured reserve list.  

Trevor Lawrence (Questionable)

The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback was limited in Thursday’s practice. He is dealing with a toe injury but is expected to start against the Dallas Cowboys.  

Matthew Stafford (Out)

The Los Angeles Rams quarterback has been placed on IR. Coach Sean McVay said that Stafford doesn’t need surgery and is expected to be ready by offseason. 

Stafford played against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12 despite suffering from a severe neck strain. He did not start in Week 13. 

Running Backs:

Damien Harris (Questionable)

The New England Patriots’ Damien Harris missed Week 13 and Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals due to a thigh injury. He remained limited at practice Thursday and is questionable for Week 15. 

Josh Jacobs (Questionable)

The Las Vegas Raiders RB returned to the field after getting Xrays for his hand injury. However, he was limited in Thursday’s practice. 

Kenneth Walker (Healthy)

The Seattle Seahawks RB was removed from the injury report in Week 15. He missed last week with a jammed ankle but is expected to start against the 49ers.

Wide Receivers:

Devante Parker (Questionable)

The New England WR injured his head in the first quarter of his Week 14 game. He was DNP on Wednesday and Thursday and is expected to miss the Sunday game against the Las Vegas Raiders

Deebo Samuel (Out)

The San Francisco 49ers WR is expected to miss about three weeks with a left MCL sprain and sprained left ankle, the head coach said. 

Corey Davis (Questionable)

The New York Jets receiver was placed on concussion protocol following a head injury in Week 14. He missed Thursday practice and is expected to sit out of the matchup vs the Detroit Lions.

Courtland Sutton (Questionable)

The Denver Broncos wide receiver left the game vs the Baltimore Ravens with a hamstring injury. He did not practice last week and was missing in action Thursday too. 

With the Broncos eliminated, it is likely that they will not force Sutton back to the field. 

Darnell Mooney (Injured Reserve)

The Chicago Bears’ WR will be out for the remainder of the season as he suffered a left ankle injury in Week 12 vs New York Jets.

Allen Robinson Jr (Injured Reserve)

The Rams’ WR will be missing the rest of the NFL year after being placed on the injured reserve after suffering a foot injury that requires surgery. 

Nico Collins (Questionable)

The Houston Texans WR did not practice last Week and missed Thursday sessions too. He is expected to sit out.
