NFL Week 2 games on Sunday finished with Green Bay Packers’ win over the Chicago Bears. Aaron and co won 27-10. 

Here are the key highlights of the Sunday games:

It’s not over ’til it’s over:

Two teams – Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals – scripted covered a deficit of more than 20 points to win their Week 2 games against the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders respectively.

Twelve minutes to go for the final whistle, Miami were 21 points down in the game. They were trailing 35-14. However, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa combined with Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill lead the team’s comeback. His 7-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds left completed the incredible comeback. 

Tyreek Hill had touchdown catches of 48 and 60 yards during that rally, the latter of which tied the game with 5:19 to play.

The Dolphins won 42-38. 

The Cardinals trailed 20-0 against the Raiders. Some brilliant game-play by quarterback Kyler Murray helped them go to overtime at 23-23. The team won 29-23. 

On-field brawl inspires Tampa Bay defense: 

Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady helped incite a skirmish that led to the ejections of Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore and Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans.

The NFL GOAT was left without his top three wide receivers in Julio Jones, Chris Godwin (both injured) and Evans. However, his defense stepped up. 

Jamel Dean made the first two picks — one on a deep pass intended for rookie Chris Olave at the goal line. Later, safety Mike Edwards returned an interception near the right sideline 68 yards for a touchdown to make it 20-3.

The Tuachdowns: 

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins quarterback, led his team’s comeback against the Baltimore Ravens. The 24-year-old threw for 469 yards and six touchdowns, four of which came during a spectacular fourth quarter, to help the Miami Dolphins rally from a 21-point deficit

Tagovailoa’s 7-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle with 14 seconds left completed the incredible comeback after Miami (2-0) trailed 35-14 with under 13 minutes remaining.

The Kyler Murray show: 

Quarterback Kyler Murray led Arizona Cardinals’ overtime win against the Las Vegas Raiders at the Allegiant Stadium.

The 25-year-old completed 31 off 49 passes for 277 yards, threw for one touchdown and had an interception. He also rushed for 28 yards and scored one rushing touchdown. 

He ran all over the field, 84.9 yards on a 2-point conversion, to help his side cover a 20-point deficit.
