Jonathan Taylor, picked number 1 RB in most fantasy football leagues in NFL 2022, joined the injured list on Sunday. As did Javonte Williams of the Denver Broncos.
In new updates for Week 4, Patriot receivers Julio Jones, Chris Godwin and Russel Gage have been removed from the injury list just ahead of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Here is the updated injury status of top players starting with the latest from Sunday games:
Jonathan Taylor – Questionable
Indianapolis Colts’ star running back had to leave Sunday’s game in the 4th quarter against the Tennessee Titans because of an ankle injury. He was marked DNP for Monday’s practice. He will play against the Broncos on Thursday if he is fit by that time.
Javonte Williams – Questionable
The Denver running back injured his knee in the second quarter of Sunday’s game vs the Las Vegas Raiders. He was carted to the locker room. The Broncos said Williams was questionable to return to the game but later ruled him out. He will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, the news was confirmed on Monday.
Brian Hoyer – Questionable
Hoyer, who stepped in for the Patriots’ injured starting quarterback Mac Jones, went off the field in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. He was injured on a sack and is being evaluated for a head injury.
Running Backs:
Christian McCaffrey – Healthy
Carolina Panthers star running back Christian McCaffrey has been taken off the injured list just before Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. He had been listed questionable with a thigh injury from his team’s Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints.
James Conner – Healthy
Running back James Conner, has been taken off the injury list and should start for the Arizona Cardinals against the Panthers in their Week 4 match-up on Sunday. Conner was a limited participant in practice with a knee injury earlier this week.
Alvin Kamara – Out
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saint running back, is out for Sunday’s game in London against the Vikings. Kamara has a rib injury.
D’Andre Swift – Out
The Detroit Lions running back has an injured ankle as well as an injured shoulder and is out of the Week 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
David Montgomery – Out
The Chicago Bears running back has double injuries – to his right knee and ankle – and has been ruled out of Sunday’s Week 4 game against the New York Giants.
Montgomery had left play in the first quarter of the Bears’ Week 3 match-up against the Houston Texans. The Bears won 23-20.
Dalvin Cook – Healthy
The Vikings’ top running back left play in the third quarter of the Week 3 game against the Detroit Lions with a shoulder injury on Sunday and was questionable on Wednesday for Week 4. He was declared healthy after attending full practice on Thursday.
JK Dobbins – Healthy
The Baltimore Ravens’ starting running back played only in Week 3 after injuring his knee in a pre-season game. Ahead of Week 4, he was questionable after limited practice on Wednesday, but his status was upgraded to healthy on Thursday.
Joe Mixon – Healthy
Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals running back, was removed from the injury list after full participation in practice on Tuesday. Mixon sat out a portion of the last quarter in the Week 3 match against the New York Jets with an injured ankle and there was much concern over his status for the Thursday night game in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.
Gus Edwards – Out
The Baltimore Ravens running back is yet to play this season after suffering an ACL tear last September. On the PUP list so far and was expected to sit out the first four games, Edwards is now listed as out for Week 4. He has said he is “doing great and I’m very close. “
Tyrion Davis-Price – Out
The San Francisco 49ers rookie has a hip injury that he got in Week 2 and his Week 4 status is “out”. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan has said. Davis-Price is expected to be missing in action for a few weeks.
Brian Robinson – Out
Less than three weeks after being shot in the leg by armed robbers, the Washington Commanders running back returned to practice. He has been increasing his workload and his health status has been upgraded from injured reserve to “out” for this week. He is expected to play against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5.
Damien Williams – Injured Reserve
Damien Williams, backup running back for the Atlanta Falcons has been put on the injured reserve list and is expected to be out till mid-October. He had injured his ribs in his team’s week 1 match against the Saints and hasn’t played since.
Wide Receivers:
Amon-Ra St. Brown – Out
Amon-Ra St Brown, this season’s shining star for the Detroit Lions and fantasy football owners, has been ruled out of the Week 4 game against the Seahawks. St. Brown injured his ankle in the Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Stefon Diggs – Healthy
The top Buffalo Bills wideout is off the injury list. He was seen lying on the sideline late in the Week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins with what he has described as “full body cramps…I’ve never experienced that in my life.” The Bills play the Baltimore Ravens in their Week 4 Sunday game against the Ravens.
Gabe Davis – Healthy
The Buffalo Bills WR has been taken off the injury list ahead of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Marquise Brown – Healthy
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is off the injury list and will play Sunday’s game against the Panthers.
Rondale Moore – Healthy
The Cardinals wide receiver, who has not played this season after injuring his hamstring in early September, has been taken off the injury list just before his team’s Week 4 game against the Carolina Panthers.
AJ Green – Out
Atlanta Cardinals’ wide receiver AJ Green has been ruled out of Sunday’s Week 4 game. He has a bone bruise in his knee that he got in the third quarter of the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Michael Thomas – Out
WR Micheal Thomas has been ruled out of his team, the New Orleans Saints’, London game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Thomas has an injured toes and missed practice through the week since the team landed in England.
Jarvis Landry – Healthy
The New Orleans Saints wide receiver had an injured foot and was questionable for the game against the Minnesota Vikings. He has since been declared healthy and is playing.
Cordarelle Patterson – Healthy
Peterson missed the Falcons’ week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns due to a knee injury. He will miss the next four games as the team placed him on injury reserve list on Monday.
Keenen Allen – Out
The LA Chargers wide receiver has a hamstring injury that kept him out of play Week 3. He was on Friday ruled out for the Week 4 game against the Texans.
Julio Jones – Healthy
Wide receiver Julio Jones of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been taken off the injured list in the final update before kick-off against Kansas City. Jones injured his knee and did not play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.
Chris Godwin – Healthy
Julio’s fellow Buccaneer wideout Chris Godwin too has been upgraded to healthy. Godwin has been nursing an injured hamstring.
Russel Gage – Healthy
Another Tampa Bay WR Russel Gage is also off the injured list. He had a hamstring injury.
Breshad Perriman – Out
Tampa Bay wide receiver Breshad Perriman is out for Tampa Bay’s Week 4 match-up with Kansas City. Perriman has an injured hamstring.
Wan’Dale Robinson – Out
The New York Giants wide receiver has a knee injury and has been ruled out of the Week 4 match-up with the Chicago Bears. Robinson had missed the Week 3 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Kadarius Toney – Out
Kadarius Toney of the New York Giants too has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Bears.
Michael Gallup – Healthy
The Dallas Cowboys WR is off the injury list and has been cleared to play in Week 4. He was recovering from a knee surgery and has not played this season.
Josh Reynolds – Healthy
Lions wideout Josh Reynolds, questionable so far with an ankle injury, has been upgraded to healthy for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.
DJ Chark – Out
The Detroit Lions WR is out for the Week 4 match-up against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He has an ankle injury.
Christian Watson – Healthy
Rookie receiver Christian Watson of the Green Bay Packers is off the injured list for Week 4. He had a hamstring injury. The Packers play the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Sammy Watkins – Injured Reserve
Packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins was placed on injured reserve last weekend.
Hunter Renfrow – Out
The Las Vegas Raiders WR did not play Week 3 against the Titans after suffering a concussion. He has also been ruled out for Week 4’s Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
Van Jefferson – Injured Reserve
Jefferson of the Los Angeles Rams has been placed on injured reserve. The wide receiver has a knee injury.
Jakobi Meyers – Out
New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is out for the Week 4 against the Packers. Meyers has a knee injury and did not play against the Ravens in their Week 3 match-up.
Quarterbacks:
Mac Jones – Out
Mac Jones, New England Patriots quarterback who sprained his ankle during last Sunday’s games, is out for Week 4.
Zach Wilson – Healthy
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson was removed from the injury list ahead of Week 4 and played against the Steelers, scoring a touchdown in a 24-20 win for the team.
Dak Prescott – Out
Top QB Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys is still out.He said on Monday that he is preparing a comeback in his team’s Week 5 match-up with the LA Rams.
Jameis Winston – Out
New Orleans Saints QB Jameis Winston has back, hip and ankle injuries and is out against the Vikings on Sunday in London.
