Philadelphia Eagles continued their unbeaten run in the 2022 NFL season, defeating the Houston Texans, 8-0, in Week 9’s opener on Thursday Night. This also marked the longest run for the team not suffering a loss in it’s history.

One of the biggest losses of the week came for the Green bay Packers who lost their fifth consecutive game of the season, this time falling 15-9 to their NFC North rivals, Detroit Lions. QB Aaron Rodgers has one of his career worst performances as he threw three interceptions, tieing for his most in a game.

Chicago Bears’ Justin Fields broke the NFL record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single game in his team’s close defeat at the hands of the Miami Dolphins with the final score being 32-35 at Soldier Field.

Let’s look at the top quarterbacks from Week 9:

1) Justin Fields (Chicago Bears)

Despite suffering a defeat at home to the Dolphins, fans were delighted by the play of Fields who had his career-longest 61-yard rushing TD in the game and threw three touchdown passes, ending the game with 17 completed passes in 28 attempts and running 15 times for 178 yards in the game.

2) Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)

Allen and his Bills had to taste just their second loss of the season, this time to the high-flying New York Jets, where he threw two interceptions. Even though the QB was not effective throwing the ball with just 18 successful passes in 34 attempts, he rushed with the football very well, scoring two touchdowns in eight carries and recording 86 rushing yards for the game.

3) Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins)

The Dolphins had not lost a game this season that Tagovailoa has played and completed. The streak continued this week as well when the Dolphins visited and defeated Chicago thanks to three TD passes in 302 passing yards from the player in 30 pass attempts.

4) Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks)

The Seahawks’ amazing run in NFL this year continued with a win against the Arizona Cardinals. Geno Smith‘s third consecutive game with two passing TDs ended with him completing 26 out of his 34 passes for 275 yards and an interception.

5) Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles)

One of the front runners for the 2022 NFL MVP, Hurts remained consistent with his performances, leading the team to a perfect 8-0 record for the season. He completed 21 of his 27 passes and threw two TDs in the game which was part of TNF.
