Soon after being taken to the blue tent for inspection, Jefferson was back at the sideline. Tom Pelissero of the NFL network reported that he is probable to return.
Vikings looking at a big defeat, brought their talisman Jefferson back, who seemed alright after a while.
Jefferson has been one of the most successful players of the entire season, recording 99 receptions and six touchdowns for 1,500 yards. One of the highlights of the 23-year-old’s remarkable season came in October when recorded 1 receiving touchdown for 150 yards against the New Orlean Saints at Tottenham Hotsure stadium in London.

Jefferson’s re-entry did change the fortunes for the Vikings as they recovered from their half-time score of 0-33 and scored 14 points in the third quarter for only three by their opponents. Riding high on two touchdowns by their quarterback Kirk Cousins, the Vikings were trailing 21-36 with half of the fourth quarter still left. While the difference is still significant, one cannot deny that the home side has made a spirited comeback.
A victory here would ensure that the Vikings’ will have an insurmountable lead atop the table in NFC North with three games to go and thus will confirm a playoff ticket. However, their wobbly form will haunt their fans ahead of the big clash.
The Colts on the other hand are on the verge of elimination and need to win on demand to have any qualification chances.
