Running back Khalil Herbert ran for a career-high 157 yards and two touchdowns in Chicago Bears’ 23-20 win over the Houston Texans at the Soldier Field. Alexander Mattison of the Minnesota Vikings had seven carries for 28 yards and a touchdown in the team’s win over Detroit Lions.

Herbert and Mattison, rostered 49% and 54% on Yahoo Fantasy Football respectively, are the top two waiver wire pick ups for week 4.

Khalil Herbert: (Recommended FAAB: 25% of overall budget) 

While the Chicago Bears RB put up a brilliant performance on Sunday, he is expected to play a major role in the team’s week 4 game against the New York Giants with David Montgomery injured. He had two catches for 12 yards and dominated the game.

Alexander Mattison: (Recommended FAAB: 15% of overall budget) 

Running Back Dalvin Cook’s shoulder injury gives Alexander Mattison a decent bulk of Minnesota’s offense.

Although Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said that he expects Cook to be back in the line-up for a week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints, Mattison is a safe bet to place. 

Mattison was selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. He has been a regular face in the Minnesota offense since. The 24-year-old had seven carries for 28 yards and a touchdown, along with one catch for 16 yards in the win.

Samaje Perine: (Recommended FAAB: 10% of overall budget) 

Cincinnati Bengals starting running back Joe Mixon had a poor game on Sunday against the New York Jets. He rushed 12 times for 24 yards, adding 17 yards on 3 receptions. His backup, Samaje Perine, rushed 9 times for 47 yards and caught 2 passes for 14 yards and a touchdown.

If Mixon doesn’t play next week, Perine will start. 

Trevor Lawrence: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

Lawrence was key in Jacksonville Jaguars’ 38-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He had threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions and no sacks. The 22-year-old has been rostered 57% on Yahoo Fantasy Football. He has six touchdowns to one pick through three games while being sacked twice this season.

Jamaal Williams: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

Rostered 60% on Yahoo Fantasy Football, Jamaal Williams led Detroit against Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The team, however, lost 24-28. 

Williams went 87 yards on the ground over 20 carries and adding two touchdowns. It was the first time, he surpassed starting RB DeAndre Swift in rushing yards. 

Mack Hollins: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

Rostered 2% on Yahoo Fantasy Football, Mack Hollins managed to put up an impressive performance on Sunday. The Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver hauled in eight of his ten targets for 158 yards and a TD. However, his team lost to the Titans. 

Devante Parker: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

The New England Patriots wide receiever caught five of 10 targets for 156 yards in his team’s 37-26 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. The 29-year-old led the Patriots in receptions, receiving yards and targets. He was rostered 25% on Yahoo Fantasy Football. 

Romeo Doubs: (Recommended FAAB: 2% of overall budget) 

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs was rostered 25% on Yahoo Fantasy Football. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, QB Aaron Rodgers tossed TD passes of 5 yards to Doubs. The 22-year-old caught four of five targets for 37 yards in his team’s Week 1 loss to the Vikings and caught two of three targets for 27 yards in their Week 2 win over the Bears. 

With Sammy Watkins on I.R. for at least four weeks, Doubs is a good option to pick up.
