Jamaal Agnew of the Jacksonville Jaguars was on fire against the Phildelphia Eagles on Sunday. The wide-receiver scored two touchdowns in his team’s 29-21 loss at the Lincoln Financial Field. 

Melvin Gordon, who recorded his fifth fumble in his last five game, managed 50 scrimmage yards in his third straight game while working behind Javonte Williams.

Jared Goff and Geno Smith were some other top performers in Week 4. Standout performances and injuries influenced Opoyi’s Week 5 waiver wire list. We’re providing the priority order in which to target players as well as suggestions for how much of your Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) to use.

Nyheim Hines: (Recommended FAAB: 25% of overall budget) 

Jonathan Taylor, after a poor run in four weeks, sustained an injury against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. He had 20 carries for 42 scoreless yards. With speculation over the star running-back’s availability for Week 5, his back-up Nyheim Hines comes into action. 

Hines has caught 15 of 17 targets through Matt Ryan’s first three starts with the Colts. He rushed three times for 23 yards in the team’s Week 3 win over Kansas.  

Tyler Allgeier (Recommended FAAB: 25% of overall budget)

Atlanta Falcons’ running back had a very good game, recording 10 carries for 84 yards. With RB 1 Cordralle Peterson on the injury list, there is a chance fantasy football managers would pick up the 22-year-old player for their squad. 

Mike Boone (Recommended FAAB: 10% of overall budget)

The Denver Broncos wide receiver caught a solitary pass throughout the game from QB Russell Wilson, ending the night with a reception for 9 yards

Jared Goff: (Recommended FAAB: 7% of overall budget) 

Rostered 52% on Yahoo, Jared Goff completed 26 of 39 attempts for 378 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. The quarterback has 748 passing yards and seven TD passes this season. 

George Pickens: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver caught six out of eight passes for 102 yards against the New York Jets in their Week 4 match-up. 

Latavius Murray: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

New Orleans Saints’ WR1 Alvin Kamara is out. Mark Ingram and Murray started for the team against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The latter finished the game with 11 rushes for 57 yards and a touchdown against his name. 

David Njoku: (Recommended FAAB: 5% of overall budget) 

The Cleveland Browns TE caught five of his seven targets for 73 yards against the Falcons. He, however, lost a fumble that resulted in a touchdown run. 

Mo Alie-Cox: (Recommended FAAB: 3% of overall budget) 

The Indianapolis Colts have gone with four tightends in as many weeks. Mo Alie-Cox had a six-catch, 85-yard, two-TD effort against the Tennessee Titans. 

Josh Reynolds: (Recommended FAAB: 3% of overall budget) 

The wide receiver will be Detroit Lions’ WR1 if Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) and DJ Chark (ankle) in their Week 5 match-up against the New England Patriots. The 27-year-old caught seven of his eight catches for 81 yards and TD in Week 4. 

JD McKissic: (Recommended FAAB: 3% of overall budget) 

The Washington Commanders RB had eight rushes for 40 yards in his team’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. He added three receptions for 16 additional yards.

The Jacksonville wide receiver scored two touchdowns vs the Eagles. The 27-year-old covered for an injured Zay Jones. He hauled in four of his six targets for 50 yards from quarterback Trevor Lawrence. 

Alec Pierce: (Recommended FAAB: 2% of overall budget) 

The Indianapolis Colts WR caught four of six targets for 80 yards against the Titans on Sunday. He starred with a late adjustment to an under-thrown deep ball by Matt Ryan. The rookie managed a 44-yard gain.

Devante Parker: (Recommended FAAB: 2% of overall budget) 

After a blast against the Ravens in Week 3, the New England WR managed to catch both his targets for 24 yards and a touchdown. He was recieving catches by rookie Bailey Zappe. If Hoyer comes back, the numbers can improve.

Christian Watson: (Recommended FAAB: 2% of overall budget) 

The Green Bay Packers wide receiver caught one of his three targets, gaining eight yards, and recorded one carry for 15 yards and a touchdown during the team’s overtime win over the New England Patriots. He was out with a hamstring injury in Week 3. 

Geno Smith: (Recommended FAAB: 1% of overall budget) 

The 31-year-old joined the Seattle Seahawks as a back-up for Russell Wilson. However, with the latter gone to Denver, Geno Smith leads his team.

The quarterback came back after a forgettable game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 to lift Seattle to a win vs Detroit. He threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns.

Robert Tonyan: (Recommended FAAB: 1% of overall budget) 

The Green Bay TE caught both his targets for 22 yards and a touchdown. His height and build helped the 28-year-old pounce on almost 60% of Aaron Rodgers’ drop backs.
