Green Bay Packers took a step further in the league on Sunday after defeating Washington Football Team with a score of 24-10 and secured their sixth consecutive victory. The team rode on the efforts of Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who threw three touchdown passes in the game.

Washington outgained Green Bay Packers’ 430-304 but also suffered through multiple failed attempts inside the 30-yard line in Sunday’s game, before which the team had scored a touchdown every time they breached the red zone.

Rodgers’ team has so far had a comfortable journey in the ongoing season winning all their games except their opening, in which they suffered a defeat at the hands of New Orleans with a dominant tally of 38-3.

However, according to reports from Associated Press, the team will now enter one of the most challenging parts of the tournament. Green Bay Packers will play against Arizona on Thursday this week followed by a game against Kansas City on November 7.

After both teams scored touchdowns on their opening drives, the game remained tied at 7 until Green Bay took the lead for good with 15 seconds left in the first half on Allen Jamel Lazard’s 10-yard reception. The 25-year-old, who entered the day with just 10 catches for 124 yards, had five receptions on that drive marking one of the most successful days for himself in the competition so far.

Green Bay Packers extended the lead early in the third quarter when a turnover set up Aaron Rodgers’ 20-yard touchdown pass to Robert Tonyan. The touchdown came three plays after Rashan Gary sacked Taylor Heinicke and forced a fumble that Dean Lowry recovered at Washington Football Team’s tally of 27, according to reports from Associated Press.
