A lot of NFL sides have injury concerns as the season heads
into week 3 of the season.

Here is an update on major injury concerns before you switch
on to Sunday Night Football this week.

Los Angeles Chargers will be missing defensive lineman
Justin Jones in the second straight game after he was downgraded to out for
Sunday’s game at the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jones suffered a calf injury in Los Angeles’ 20-16 win over
the Washington Football Team on September 12 and has not practiced the last two
weeks. Christian Covington is expected to get the start as a replacement for
Jones.

Edge rusher Joey Bosa is also questionable and remains a
game-time decision due to ankle and toe injuries. The Chargers have also announced that they have activated
outside linebacker Emeke Egbule and defensive lineman Joe Gaziano from the
practice squad.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will miss their star outside
linebacker TJ Watt against the Cincinnati Bengals. The team has downgraded Watt to out for
the game due to a groin injury. Watt was listed as questionable on Friday’s
injury report.

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins has been
ruled out for the game against the San Francisco 49ers due to an ankle injury.
The team also announced that their tight end Dominique Dafney will also be
missing the game against the 49ers due to a hip injury.

Jenkins got hurt during the Packers’ 35-17 victory over the
Detroit Lions on Monday night, though he remained on the field throughout the game.
After listing him as doubtful on Friday’s injury report, the Packers announced on
Saturday that Jenkins will not be travelling to San Francisco for the game on
Sunday.
