Followers of
the economy and markets were left astonished when they found photos
of actress Mouni Roy on the National Stock Exchange’s official Twitter
handle on Saturday morning.

“Soaring Saturday
temperature high… @RoyMouni looks breathtaking,” read the post, along with
photos of the actress.

The post was accompanied
with a series of hashtags including, ‘beautifuldiva,’ ‘sexydiva’ and ‘hotgirl.’

The tweet left people perplexed and
also triggered a series on memes on Twitter.

Soon after, NSE deleted the post and issued an apology.

“It
was a human error made by the agency handling NSE account and there was no
hacking. Our sincere apologies to our followers for the inconvenience caused,” NSE tweeted.
